Martin performs gigs and broadcasts that reflect his commitment to care and attention to detail. He balances thorough preparation with his natural intuition for what will work in the moment. Martin’s style brings together the aspects that have inspired him most from a wide variety of DJing influences. He first became hooked on the art of working a crowd watching mobile DJs as a child, developing his mixing and broadcasting style studying DJ heroes as diverse as Slipmatt, Louie Vega and Sara Cox. Martin prides himself on professionalism and being easy to work with and has built many trusted relationships with venues and promoters.

Martin has forged a great local reputation in the Southampton area. He has performed at a variety of events and venues, from his early days playing garage vinyl in pubs and clubs to more recently in his residencies at high-end cocktail lounges. As well as a solo performer, Martin is a regular support act for soul DJs, live bands and singers. He has broadcast over two hundred and fifty radio shows, interviewing legends of the house music scene such as Cece Peniston, Ultra Naté and Barbara Tucker. Martin also uses his talents for philanthropic causes, promoting fundraising events for local charities.

Martin measures his success in terms of the number of satisfying events and shows where he’s been able to bring joy to his audiences. He also cherishes the bonds he has forged with the DJs and artists with whom he’s collaborated, and the strong relationships with venues and promoters he has forged.
